Permanent, Full time (47.5 hours) 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

£29,640 - £37,050 (£12 - £15per hour) + overtime (time + ½)

On call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks (Mon – Sun and evenings) - You will receive an extra £200 when on call (whether called out or not) 

Our client is a drainage services company offering a wide range of services including drain repairs and maintenance, civil engineering and trenchless solutions.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Skilled Groundworker to join their dynamic team. You will be working on a variety of projects in a 2-person crew across Essex and Sussex regions.

What the role will involve:

• All aspects of deep drainage

• Manhole construction

• Concreting, block laying and kerb laying (all in confined spaces)

• Hand digging

• Excavation work

• Heavy lifting

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a drainage and groundworks position

• Full UK driving license ideally clean but the client will consider candidates with up to 6 points

Desirable Qualifications (Training Provided if Needed)

• Confined Spaces.

• CSCS

• EUSR SHEA (Water/Utility).

• Street works (NRSWA)

• 360 Excavator.

• Dumper ticket

• Cat and Genny
